About me:

I am an explorer, a lifelong learner, an experiencer and an experimenter

My name is Boyan, and for the last 7 years I have explored my mind and body to go beyond imagination into reality. I have found that reality is kind, serene, & happy - for everyone. Your True Self cannot be affected by pain, sickness, or mental distress. All you need to do is to let go of the obstacles you have built to be that True Self.
Please choose on one of the following option so that we can get to know each other:
  • Let's meet either in-person or via Skype (free 20-minute initial consultation & once-per-month pay what you can sessions)
  • or join my 'Mental Gravity'  Facebook Group to meet like-minded people and stay up-to-date with the latest podcast episodes, events & courses that I"m running.
Let me know you exist, because otherwise we will never meet. And if you stay a stranger and I never learned your name, we would never know what we could have explored together.
What has been challenging you lately?

Sorry guys - I got this post totally wrong! I actually posted the video of one of the boys in USA. So I've reposted the right one below. Enjoy!

Got so excited when we watched this video I almost peed my pants! F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!
Husband's friend's son (got it?) worked on the replica shuttle built for Top Gear (UK programme). Here's the result:

This is it!

We watched Top Gear a lot. The three guys get up to amazing stuff, as you can see!

Husband's got some models - one of which is a Saturn Five rocket - his favourite, and I've been nagging him a lot to get it painted so that we can launch it. Trouble is, finding somewhere to launch it! Not so easy on this little island of ours, but there are places. Just have to find them.

Let me know, guys, if you can think of somewhere, bearing in mind that we're in Hampshire.

Reclaiming Your Future

     What is Reclaiming Your Future?
Mission statement:  Mental health talk without the bullshit whilst eating a lot of dessert!
Vision:  To help those who suffer with mental illness, and those who support them, to feel              comforted and less alone in their struggles.

Reclaiming Your Future is a website dedicated to helping you feel less alone in your life.  To realise that there are others experiencing mental health issues and that it’s ok if you feel like shit because other people do too!  This isn’t your normal mental health website.  There won’t be messages of vague hope or preaching that exercise will cure everything (though it does help). Reclaiming Your Future is the place you come to when your world feels as though it has ended and you don’t now how to keep going (or even if you want to).

At the moment it’s ‘just’ a website but a powerful one with readers sometimes crediting it and its words with saving their lives. There is a very active and engaging community that supports each other on Facebook and a stream of helpful information and advice on Twitter when times get tough.  There is also have a weekly newsletter full of helpful tips and articles on how you can look after yourself and each other.  You can sign up here.

We live in a world in which we are constantly sold the idea of ‘positive thinking’ as the absolute cure for mental health issues without realising the damage and isolation that can cause for those who suffer and so Reclaiming Your Future was born. Founded as the antithesis of the positive self-help sites, it’s the anti-self-help platform for people to be honest with themselves and say ‘It’s ok’ that they’re suffering because they’re not alone and it doesn’t have to be the end of the world.

Because of that, I have launched my own social enterprise called In Plain Sight which is dedicated to all of us who struggle with our mental health but who hide in plain sight.  To all of us who wish we could say something but don’t.  The first stage of the enterprise was launched on January 1st 2018 and they are something called Comfort Cards™ – postcards designed to start and help have those difficult conversations with each other in the hopes it will people fell a little less alone in this world and have the potential to save lives.  You can read all about them here and purchase them exclusively on my Etsy store here

Who’s behind Reclaiming Your Future?

That would be me, Toni.  I’m currently 32 years old and have suffered with high-functioning depression and anxiety since I was 13 across varying degrees and diagnoses.  I am chronically mentally ill and have attempted to take my own life. However, despite all of my struggles, I have kept full-time jobs, relationships, travelled the world solo and continued to live.  Reclaiming Your Future, for me, is about sharing the brutal side of (my own) mental illnesses to prove that you can achieve great things despite struggling with your mental health.

If you want to read about what makes me an expert in mental health, this is my story.
