FANCY A WESTERN WITH HUMOUR & A TWIST?

D'you fancy a western with some humour & a twist?
 How about this?  🤠

Alias Jeannie Delaney is an epic western trilogy centred upon a devastating and charismatic pants-wearing cowgirl who's the fastest gun in the west and a great lover to both men and women.

The narrative takes us from Jeannie's birth in New Orleans in 1865 and her development as a tomboy beauty, through the family's migration west and her formative years in Wyoming. She develops a powerful persona and also discovers her phenomenal speed with a gun and her particular sexuality. Her journey takes her through deadly confrontations and tragedies to find her true self on the wild frontier.

Will she ultimately find happiness or will her combination of tomboy beauty, charismatic magnetism, sexuality and lethal gun finally be the death of her?

PA hubby has placed Book 1- Go West, Girl! on an Amazon advertising plan. He's worked his butt off for me to get this trilogy published and supported me through all my years of  blood, sweat and tears (literally!). He was the one who persuaded me to write it after we got married, fully aware that I'd had the story in my head since my teens.

Back to the present and orders have shot up and numerous pages are being read on Kindle Unlimited - readers seem to steam through it like a railroad train.

I've had fabulous comments and reviews from readers since publishing Book 1- Go West, Girl!  Thank you so much! I won't apologise for posting them because I absolutely relish them!

COVER REVEAL FOR BOOK 2 -
THE OUTLAW'S RETURN

'A crack shot story, a unique blend of adventure, humour, & powerful storytelling that blazes across the wild frontier. It will leave you hungry for more!'

'The premise of a charismatic and skilled cowgirl on a journey of self-discovery is absolutely captivating. Kudos on the rave reviews and the unique twist Kit has brought to the western genre.'

'Yee-hah! I'm enjoying this soooo much! Not just the story but also the quality of the writing, & the loving detail. Clearly a lot of research - Kit Mackenzie writes as though she's actually been there. I'm relishing the nuances of her fab writing. I so enjoyed reading the novel in detail. Rereading & absorbing the world & the atmosphere ). It's a terrific story with strong characters (to put it mildly!) & a powerful arc. It's 24 carat writing'

'I love kit Mackenzie's descriptions of where Jeannie is, so atmospheric 😌 I'm already deep in the story and loving it!'

'I am loving the book !! This novel is a refreshing change from the usual western. Easy to read & 'm thoroughly enjoying it!

'Kit Mackenzie writes brilliantly, describing the American Plains in all their beauty. I am thoroughly enjoying the read!!'

'Just finished reading Alias Jeanne Delaney. A fascinating read. Quite extraordinary. Loved Kit Mackenzie's ability to set the scene, making it feel as if the reader was there themself experiencing the scene & surroundings. She has said that it's not the kind of book for everybody, but it's surprising who does enjoy it! It's quite unlike anything I have read before. Well done Kit Mackenzie & I hope it becomes a best seller. I look forward to the next instalment in book 2.'

Five stars
'I’ve just finished reading ‘Go West, Girl.’ A very good read - a real page-turner. Kit Mackenzie's descriptions were so vivid I could imagine I was in Coyote Creek. I’m not sure whether or not I like Jeannie - I feel sorry for her that she is so unhappy, but realise it’s because she was ahead of her time, & frustrated as she kicked against the social rules of her time. I admire that she refused to accept the norms of times - & people like her made things much more equitable for us today. No doubt Kit will keep us posted re the next book.'

'A unique & fascinating Western theme. Kit Mackenzie has an enviable writing skill!'

Booksprout reviews:
Five stars
'A unique western read. well written & entertaining! This is a different take on a western & I really enjoyed it. Jeannie is an independent woman focused on living her life on her terms before it was socially acceptable to do so. It is well written & entertaining!'

'A great western story! *****
Not like any Western book I've ever read... Jeannie is best described as a difficult child. I love her grown-up character. She lives life on her own terms, not always liked but well-respected. I'm looking forward to more stories of her life.'

Read Book 1- Go West, Girl!  - Kindle Unlimited's library system is a great way to do that - then pre-order Book 2 - The Outlaw's Return, which will be launched on August 3rd.
